2020. What. A. Year.
2020 may have thrown us for a loop, but we came out the other side with happy clients, goals accomplished and (no surprise here) just as caffeinated as we started.
With this team of high achievers we’ve grown by leaps and bounds, and have a lot (we’re just going to say it) to be proud of – therefore, we decided to end 2020 on a high note and share some of the moments that made us smile.
Hear from the ladies that are taking LMC to the Next. Level. right on into 2021.
From Rachel…
While not necessarily a “moment,” my favorite experiences of 2020 were watching and assisting our clients, especially our healthcare clients, adapt and meet the daily challenges they have faced all year. We’ve had a front row seat to one of the most difficult times in healthcare and we’ve watched each of the teams we work with rise to the challenge with caring and creative solutions to serve their patients. Some solutions we played a role in and some we didn’t, but I’m proud to work with these resilient and caring professionals every day.
From Erin…
While I was fortunate enough to work on some big projects like our social media seminars and the statewide flu vaccine campaign, my favorite moment of 2020 was launching LMC’s Facebook page. Social media is certainly a passion of mine, so being able to give our brand a voice and presence on social has been really fun for me. I love being able to showcase the amazing work we are doing for friends, family, potential clients and anyone else to see. And it has been fun to be trusted to create content using platforms that are nontraditional to our firm.
From Brie…
Though 2020 may have separated us physically for a few months, it couldn’t stop us from staying connected…and it also couldn’t keep us from having coffee together!
One day while in quarantine, I, along with the rest of the team, received a bag of TipTop coffee and a cup with a note from Lori proposing weekly, virtual coffee breaks via Zoom. Having to go from all being together under one roof, to working from our homes was a social adjustment, but with a little creativity and caffeine, we were able to come together and bring some joy to each other’s weeks. From silly virtual backgrounds, to around-the-house scavenger hunts, we grew closer than ever while still keeping our distance.
From Hannah…
2020 was jampacked with everything from COVID-19 and groovy giveaways, to client photo shoots and bringing on a handful of new social clients. But my favorite moment of 2020 was when the team packed up the coolers and lathered on some sunscreen (definitely not enough of it) and hit the Cheat River with Blackwater Outdoor Adventures to set out on a kayaking adventure.
Low water didn’t stop us from unplugging from day-to-day office tasks and enjoying a beautiful, bluebird, sunshiny day packed full of laughs, as well as a few White Claws and Big Timber Beers. I’ve enjoyed this year to the fullest getting to work with this wonderful group of gals and learning something new every day – Bring on 2021!
From Samantha…
Before the country went on lockdown, LMC was able to have a couple last minute hurrahs. The team got a little fancy for the evening on March 5, 2020 and joined our fellow Randolph County neighbors at the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce Awards event. Having the opportunity to indulge in local drinks and delicious food and mingle with friends made for a perfect evening. However, the highlight of the evening was our very own leader, Lori Chenoweth, winning the award for Business Woman of the Year.
With a strong drive and hard work, Lori has and continues to evolve LMC & Associates to better serve the marketing needs of businesses and organizations around the state. I know I can speak for the whole team when I say we’re excited to see what 2021 brings!
From Lori…
While every one of these moments from 2020 are significant in so many ways, I think my most memorable moment was wrapping up our first social media seminar in September 2020. These seminars were meant to be in-person each quarter throughout 2020 and with only one week before our first seminar in March, we had to completely rethink and adapt to the health situation of 2020. Our team re-grouped and re-thought the whole format, presentation, and content. We successfully pulled off two seminars, held virtually, and were able to finally partner up with the Elkins-Randolph Chamber of Commerce to provide their members a learning opportunity. To say that I am proud of the ladies who worked on each of these seminars is an understatement; they continue to amaze me with their passion and dedication to our agency and what we do.
Remember – if you’re looking to strategize your marketing in 2021 it’s never too late to start planning for a productive year, but first things first – #LetsParty!
Here’s to a successful and happy New Year from all of us at LMC & Associates!
Goodbye 2020, hello 2021!
