Agency LMC Honored with Top Awards at PRSA-WV’s Best of West Virginia

Elkins-based Agency Secures 23 Awards, Including Gold Honors for Best Overall Campaign and Tactic, at Statewide Public Relations Event

ELKINS, W.Va. (December 31, 2024) — Agency LMC (LMC), a full-service marketing and communications agency, was recognized for outstanding achievements at the 2024 West Virginia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-WV) Best of West Virginia Awards, held on November 12 in Charleston, West Virginia.

The annual PRSA-WV Crystal Awards, now branded as the Best of West Virginia Awards, celebrates excellence in public relations and communications efforts across the state. The awards highlight innovative strategies that elevate brands and drive positive change within West Virginia communities. Each year, PRSA-WV honors the professionals and organizations whose work exemplifies strategic planning, creativity, implementation, and measurable results.

To capture the diverse scope of public relations, entries are classified as either Campaigns or Tactics. Tactic entries are individual work or projects, such as a social media post or brochure, and are judged on creativity, execution, and results. Campaign entries, meanwhile, represent broader projects that integrate multiple tactics to achieve specific goals and are evaluated on research, planning, execution, and overall effectiveness. This structure recognizes both the impact of singular tactics and the strategic integration of tactics within larger campaigns.

In 2024, Agency LMC was named a top finalist in the Campaigns category for its work with Barbour Community Health Association (“We’re Here” external communications campaign), Grant County Bank (CMI external communications campaign), and the West Virginia Primary Care Association (integrated communications campaign).

In the Tactics category, LMC received finalist distinctions for the following projects:

• External Website – Coplin Health Systems and Endolumik website development projects
• Social Media – Agency LMC campaign to promote Beverly Randolph Heritage Tourism’s rebrand/website launch and St. George Medical Clinic’s testimonial 4-grid graphic
• Social Media – United Coal Company campaign to promote underground mine safety
• Collateral (Brochures/Mailings/Posters) – Clay-Battelle Health Services Association quality measure education collateral, Mountain State Forest Festival 2023 Program/Schedule of Events, and Eastern Community & Technical College Agri-Tourism Map Brochure
• Events 7 Days or Less – Allegheny Metallurgical Electrician Job Fair
• Newsletter – Snowshoe Foundation Treasure on the Mountain Digital Email Campaign
• Best Use of AI – Barbour Community Health Association Spanish brochure translation
• Research – Grant County Bank rebrand research
• Annual Report – Tucker Community Foundation

Out of the five finalists, LMC was recognized for the top three Best of West Virginia Overall tactics:

• Best of West Virginia Overall Tactic Gold for its external website created for Coplin Health Systems.
• Best of West Virginia Overall Tactic Silver for its Agency LMC campaign to promote Beverly Randolph Heritage Tourism’s rebrand/website launch.
• Best of West Virginia Overall Tactic Bronze for its United Coal Company campaign to promote underground mine safety.

Out of the five finalists, LMC was recognized for two of Best of West Virginia Overall campaigns:

• Best of West Virginia Overall Campaign Gold for its Barbour Community Health Association “We’re Here” external communications campaign.
• Best of West Virginia Overall Campaign Bronze for its Grant County Bank “CMI” external communications campaign.
