Elkins-native recognized for leadership and impact in statewide communications industry

Agency LMC (LMC), a premier full-service advertising, marketing, and public relations agency based in Elkins, W.Va., proudly announces that Savannah Bodkin, Account Executive, has been named 2025 Young Professional of the Year by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) West Virginia Chapter. The honor was announced at the chapter’s annual Night of Honors, held November 13 at West Virginia University in Morgantown.

Each year, PRSA West Virginia recognizes one emerging professional in the public relations field in the state of West Virginia to recognize their exemplary skills and early-career contributions and accomplishments. Bodkin’s selection highlights her career growth, strategic expertise, and contributions to significant statewide campaigns, along with her demonstration of exceptional leadership and continued impact to the state’s communications landscape.

Bodkin joined Agency LMC in 2021 as Social Media Manager. In that role, she strengthened client brands, created engaging content, and managed community engagement initiatives. In 2023, she was promoted to Executive Assistant, where she supported the agency’s executive team and the agency’s largest accounts.

Earlier this year, Bodkin was named Account Executive. In this position, she leads and manages a portfolio of clients and oversees marketing, communications, and media relations projects from strategy and planning to execution.

A native and current resident of Elkins, Bodkin graduated from West Virginia University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in professional writing and editing. She has completed multiple industry certifications, including Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate and Meta Certified Creative Strategy Professional. Bodkin is deeply involved in the Elkins community, mentoring through Randolph County CLIMB, volunteering with Interact Children’s Museum, contributing to Mountain State Forest Festival committees, and regularly supporting local events across the region.

“I’m incredibly honored to be named PRSA West Virginia’s Young Professional of the Year. I’m grateful for my colleagues, my clients, and my community,” says Bodkin. “I’m honored that PRSA WV recognizes the powerful, creative, and important work happening in small towns all across our great state.”

“We are extremely proud of Savannah for winning the Young Professional of the Year award,” said Lori Chenoweth, LMC’s Founder and Strategy Director. “She is an incredibly talented and hard-working communications professional. She impresses us daily with her leadership, her creativity, the exceptional service she provides to our clients, and her ability to support her colleagues. This honor is well-deserved.”

From strategic planning to brand development, website design to videography, LMC is dedicated to helping clients identify and engage their audiences and achieve their business objectives. With meticulous planning, strategic implementation, and a commitment to tracking and measuring success, LMC is poised to lead and support clients on their next AD-venture.
