The Upshur County CVB… is headquartered in beautiful downtown Buckhannon, West Virginia. We’re just going to stop right there and give them the plug – run, don’t walk, and make the trip if you haven’t been. We’re huge fans of the Strawberry Festival, the vibrant main street with some of our favorite stops (did we mention Fish Hawk Acres chicken salad and strawberry shortcake lattes from Stone Tower Brews?) and the deep, refreshing swimming holes at Audra State Park. Upshur County is also known as being the home of West Virginia Wesleyan College and a popular destination for motorcycle enthusiasts.

Webster County Tourism

Webster County Tourism gives us all the feels… it’s rugged and a little off the beaten path, full of outdoor adventure (with over 65,000 acres of the Monongahela National Forest lying within its borders – we’re not kidding), and is packed to the brim with history and hidden gems just waiting to be discovered. Webster County doesn’t have an official CVB, so all efforts to promote tourism are funded through the Webster County Economic Development Authority (WCEDA). Bridging the gap between travelers and the vibrant Randolph County community, ERT skillfully entices individuals from around the world to drop in for a visit. When LMC began the discussion about market research, brand development and website design, we knew that the organization’s look & feel would need a touch of authenticity to match the community profile.
